It was just last year that Intel declared the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion were the company’s “core values,” essential for innovation and strong business growth.

This year, Intel has almost nothing to say about DEI at all in its annual Corporate Responsibility Report.

Intel’s report last year included a 16-page section on making the company “Inclusive.” The chipmaker boasted about making its offices welcoming for LGBT+ employees, boosting opportunities for African Americans, and linking executive pay to hitting diversity targets.

That’s all gone from the new corporate report, issued earlier this summer. The words diversity, equity or inclusion were used commonly in last year’s report but scarcely appear in Intel’s newest edition.
