Workers across the UK who have suffered an accident at work could be entitled to more than £900 a month. The Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (IIDB) is a Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP ) benefit aimed at supporting workers who have become ill or disabled as a direct result of an accident or disease at work, or while on an approved employment training scheme or course.
The amount a worker receives from the benefit will depend on an assessment by a medical advisor. They will determine the level of disability, ranging from 1% to 100%.
