UPPER DEERFIELD TWP. — Construction of an approximately $9 million addition to Charles F. Seabrook School briefly pauses on Sept. 15 for local and county officials to celebrate what almost two years of planning has wrought.

The expansion project will add 12 pre-kindergarten classrooms, while opening space for other grade levels. District enrollment has been climbing due to about a 4.4-percent increase in the township population since 2020.
