NEW YORK — Right-hander Fernando Cruz was dripping in confidence as he spoke to reporters about the Yankees ’ bullpen in the clubhouse on Saturday night.

“I don’t think there’s a bullpen better than us,” Cruz said. “If you put the names together, it’s impossible. We just need to come together and identify where we need to pitch, or where we are going to pitch, and it’s going to be a short game.”
