The Rochester Institute of Technology's Big Shot will take place in Buffalo for a special commemoration edition next month.

On Saturday, Oct. 11, thousands of volunteers will fill the Buffalo Bills ' Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park for the unique photographic event.

“Nurturing our photography community has always been our purpose. It was the reason Big Shot began decades ago,” says Big Shot co-coordinator and lecturer in RIT’s School of Photographic Arts and Sciences Dan Hughes. “Whether attendees are passionate about the Buffalo Bills or photography — or if you love both, like me — the shared excitement when the sun goes down and we paint the stadium with light is what will make this moment memorable.”
