Maryland Gov. Wes Moore has again ruled out a 2028 run for president.

Moore spoke on NBC’s “Meet The Press” Sunday morning. When asked about if he’d run for president in 2028, Moore said he was not.

“Yes, I’m not running for president,” Moore said.

Moore added that he was excited about another run as governor and would serve a full second term if reelected.

“I’m excited about reelection,” Moore said. “I’m excited about what I’m going to be able to do for the people of Maryland.”

Moore said that the state has had one of the fastest drops in violent crime in the United States. He also said the state’s population is growing and unemployment rates are at an all-time low.
