SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Monday marks the first day of fall classes for students at the Savannah College of Art and Design or SCAD.
SCAD representatives say more than 15,000 students are enrolled this school year.
More than 6,000 of those students moved into residence halls over the weekend.
Many students cross the Atlantic to attend the private university founded in 1978.
For more than 40 years, SCAD has stood out as one of the largest art and design schools in the nation.
