Plattner Verderame, a Phoenix-based law firm specializing in personal injury cases, announced on Thursday, Aug. 28 that they had filed a notice of claim against the Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) seeking $55 million in compensation for a former student who allegedly contracted a tick-borne illness at Camp Colton in 2019.

The firm’s statement said they intend to file a civil lawsuit if FUSD does not respond within 60 days. Copy article link
