Reading newspapers is good for your brain, boffins say. Picking up titles like the Daily Star boosts your memory and attention span, research found. ‌

It comes after a landmark US study found that older people who regularly browsed a newspaper had a lower risk of dementia over time. ‌

Now UK care experts Alderberry Care are urging households to have out a weekly “newspaper hour” to keep our minds active. ‌
