STATELINE, Nev. (KOLO) - At Edgewood Resort, golfers can expect picture perfect fairways and lakefront views, but one furry staff member has just as much of a draw as the game itself.

Whiskey is taking on his fourth year with Edgewood Tahoe to help the maintenance crew on the resort’s golf course, and is responsible for chasing away the geese, ducks, and any other pesky critters that hinder guests’ golf game.

Whiskey is a full-time employee at Edgewood Tahoe Resort and is an integral staff member in keeping the fairway clean and maintained. He underwent specialized training with Flyaway Geese that channels his herding instincts without triggering aggressive or harmful behaviors.

Unlike dogs with a strong prey drive who might chase to catch or harm, trained border collies like Whiske
