NILES Three people are injured after police say they were bit by a dog in Niles Monday morning.

The incident happened shortly before 11 a.m. in a home on Clay Street in Niles. Three people were bit, and all three were taken to the hospital. The conditions of the victims are unknown.

The circumstances leading up to the attack are unclear, but police say one of the victims lived in the home, and the other two were visiting.

Police on scene tell 21 News the dog was in the back of a Trumbull County Dog Warden Vehicle, but a neighbor had agreed to take the dog in for the day.
