JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The residents of downtown Johnson City's John Sevier Center will soon move to the new Tapestry at Roan Hill facility, and agencies are working to help those people during their relocation.
The Johnson City Development Authority and Visit Johnson City have partnered to launch the Roots at Roan Hill initiative.
According to a news release, the initiative will work to help the 145 individuals and families move to the Tapestry at Roan Hill.
The Visit Johnson City Foundation is accepting donations for future Tapestry residents. Donated funds will be used to buy needed household items.
"Through this initiative, new residents will feel the support of our community as they conclude this long-awaited opportunity," the release states.
