Dauphin RCMP are investigating a serious hit and run that left a man with life-threatening injuries on Saturday night.
Police said the collision happened around 9 p.m. on Buchanan Avenue, when a vehicle struck a 43-year-old pedestrian and fled the scene.

The victim was taken to hospital in Dauphin before being airlifted by STARS to Winnipeg, where he remains in critical condition.
Officers quickly identified and arrested a 20-year-old woman from the RM of Gilbert Plains. RCMP said a breath test showed her blood alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit.
The woman was later released with charges pending. The vehicle has been seized, and a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist attended the scene.
RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
