KANSAS CITY, Mo. — SEA LIFE Kansas City wants you to help name its newest sea turtle.
The Kemp's ridley sea turtle, the most critically endangered sea turtle species, flew across the country more than 1,000 miles to its forever home at SEA LIFE Kansas City in August. It's Missouri's only permanent resident Kemp's ridley sea turtle.
The aquarium is looking to the community for name suggestions for its newest addition.
You can submit your name ideas to SEA LIFE Kansas City's email address now through Wednesday, Sept. 17, at sealifekansascity@sealifeus.com.
