CHARLESTON, WV (WVNS) -- Despite the fact that the $1.8 billion jackpot was not won in the Mountain State, West Virginia residents purchased four winning tickets.
According to a press release, there were four winning tickets purchased in the state: a $1 million winner, a $100,000 winner, and two $50,000 winners. This lottery, consisting of 42 drawings, was the longest-running in its history.

We want to encourage them to get in contact with our team and start that process, and we want to remind everyone how important it is to always play responsibly. • David Bradley | Acting Director, West Virginia Lottery
