Today’s obituary: David Lingyak, 68, learned to draw with his mouth after accident

The life of David James Lingyak changed forever on August 20, 1978.

He was 21 years old and in the water at Oneida Lake during a J.C. Penney company party. Lingyak was the department manager of the men’s and shoe departments at the Camillus store.
