A company that owns more than 100 Dunkin’ stores around New England plans to close a Massachusetts production facility in November.
NGP Management LLC, based in North Reading, will lay off 74 people at the 15 Parkridge Road facility, according to a Massachusetts Workers Adjustment Retraining Notice filed with the state on Sept. 2. The location is not a Dunkin’ store but employs about 45 production employees and 21 drivers, according to a letter sent to the Massachusetts Department of Career Services.
According to NGP’s website , the family-owned company started in 1980 with one Dunkin’ location in Haverhill and has since expanded to include stores in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
