MONROE COUNTY, MI – A 75-year-old man died after a single-vehicle crash in Monroe County.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Michael Procy of Monroe was driving a 2023 Ford F-150 east on Fourth Street near Bronson Street in Frenchtown Township at 7:35 p.m. on Sunday when he drove off the road and hit several vehicles and posts.

Deputies say he then returned to the road drifting off it and hitting a tree. He was ejected from the truck despite wearing a seat belt, deputies said.

Procy was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash is unknown.
