One of the stars of the upcoming Carrie TV show unveiled his supposed look for Mike Flanagan's adaptation in a lighthearted Instagram post. Stephen King's iconic novel has been adapted numerous times over the years, first as a film in 1976 and a sequel.

Two additional movie remakes were made years later: an NBC film in 2002 and a big-screen reboot starring Chloë Grace Moretz in 2013. There was also an attempt at a Broadway musical in 1988 that failed to perform, and a revival in 2012.

Now Flanagan is spearheading a new version of Carrie for Amazon Prime Video that will star Summer H. Howell as the titular character, with Sienna Agudong, Matthew Lillard, Samantha Sloyan, Alison Thornton, Thalia Dudek, Amber Midthunder, Josie Totah, Arthur Conti and Joel Oulette rounding out th
