A newly announced TV show that will focus on Sherlock Holmes will feature a very new approach to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's legendary character.

As first reported by Variety , Harry King Television will be producing an animated Sherlock Holmes TV show. The upcoming series, which will be based on Nicholas Sercombe's The Unexpurgated Adventures of Sherlock Holmes novel series, has adopted Animated Sherlock as a working title.
