Teachers can win grants of up to $500 for projects and materials from Directions Credit Union.
The Directions Cares for Classroom grants program is funded for up to $20,000 for the 2025-26 school year, according to a credit union news release.
“We are interested in contest entries that will provide an impactful solution to the challenges educators face each day,” the release said. “The individual grants will provide up to $500 each to be used for a variety of projects and materials including, but not limited to books, software, math manipulatives, art supplies, audio-visual equipment, and lab materials.”
Sept. 30 is the deadline for the fall grant period, and winners will be announced on or before Nov. 3. Winter applications are accepted from Dec. 1 through Jan. 31, 2026.
