The junior running back began the year with back-to-back 100+ yard rushing games, allowing true freshman QB Bear Bachmeier a soft landing in his first taste of college football.

After averaging 16.4 yards per carry vs. Portland State and only playing two quarters, Martin was a physical force for his team in week two.
