SALT LAKE CITY — A Utah woman and her mom made the trip to New York City for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and a huge trip for a big impact.

Aubry Alldredge will see her face on the jumbotron in Times Square after she was recently chosen to appear in a video celebrating those with Down syndrome.

Alldredge and her mom will also participate in the Buddy Walk , a fundraiser for the International Down Syndrome Society .

The Alldredge family was also there to support Rods Heroes , a Utah nonprofit that helps other families adopt children with Down syndrome.
