Temperatures are growing brisk in Western North Carolina, marking the impending beginning of fall.

The 2025 spring equinox fell on Thursday, March 20. Summer officially began June 20. The next equinox, which marks the first day of 2025's autumn, is now only a couple of weeks away. The first day of fall also means a time change is on the way.
