FLETCHER – North Carolina farmers will soon see a major new round of disaster relief aid as the one-year anniversary of Tropical Storm Helene approaches.

North Carolina Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler joined USDA Deputy Secretary Stephen Vaden and U.S. Sen. Ted Budd at the opening day of the North Carolina Mountain State Fair to sign a block grant agreement for the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide $220 million to the State of North Carolina.
