FOXBOROUGH – Morgan Moses has been there.
In 2014, he made his NFL debut against a San Francisco defense led by a Pro Bowl pass rusher.
In that game, Aldon Smith dominated, finishing with two sacks and four quarterback hits. Moses’ offensive line allowed five sacks total. Pro Football Focus put two of those sacks on the rookie tackle.
When asked about Will Campbell’s NFL debut , which came against Pro Bowl pass rusher Maxx Crosby, Moses certainly understood how difficult it can be for a rookie tackle in the NFL.
On Sunday, Campbell allowed a sack and was called for two false starts in his first NFL start. Moses said he’s confident in the Patriots ’ first-round pick.
“I told him, I said, ‘Look, my first start was against Aldon Smith.’ It happens. It’s what you learn from it,” Mos
