PHILADELPHIA − The Eagles are trading for Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby, a sign that Will Shipley's rib injury could keep him out of the lineup.
NFL Network was the first to report the news on Sept. 8. A league source confirmed the report.

Bigsby, who's 5-foot-11, 215 pounds, was the Jaguars' third-round pick in 2023 out of Auburn. He rushed for 766 yards last season on 168 carries, averaging 4.6 yards per carry.
But Bigsby only had 12 yards on 5 carries on Sept. 7 in the Jaguars' 26-10 win over the Carolina Panthers . Travis Etienne was the Jaguars' main ball carrier, with 143 yards on 16 carries.
