DALLAS — In less than a month, the Dallas Mavericks will be back on the court for their first preseason game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Ahead of the season, the franchise announced its coaching staff, including some new additions and notable departures.

It was reported in July , but the Mavericks officially announced the hire of former Lakers head coach Frank Vogel. He'll be the lead assistant coach under head coach Jason Kidd , following his role as a coaching consultant for the team last season.

Vogel won't be the only new face in Dallas. The team is also bringing on six assistants to the coaching staff.
