Phillies shortstop Trea Turner is going on the Injured List. So is third baseman Alec Bohm. Both are expected to be back in time for the postseason, though.

Turner has a Grade 1 right hamstring strain , manager Rob Thomson told the local media on Monday ( via KYW's Dave Uram ) after the shortstop underwent an MRI earlier upon the club's return home to Philadelphia.

"Actually, it was better than what we expected," Thomson said of Turner's hopeful status for a playoff return ( again via Uram ).

As for Bohm, Thomson said the third baseman has been dealing with pain in his left shoulder for the past week to 10 days, and that it worsened enough in Sunday's 5-4 loss in Miami to the point where the club is opting to give him a rest.
