PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A man was arrested over the weekend following an investigation into a string of armed robberies dating back to June, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

Police say the robbery spree spanned from June 23 to September 4, and targeted seven businesses in Southeast Portland.

49-year-old Justin P. Christiansen of Portland was arrested in connection with the spree following a traffic stop on Sunday.

Officers recovered a fake bomb from Christiansen’s car. His home was also searched.

Police released the following timeline of the alleged robbery spree:

June 23, 2025 – coffee shop in the 4000 block of Southeast 26th Avenue

July 16, 2025 – fast food restaurant in 4000 block of Southeast Powell Boulevard

July 29, 2025 – discount store in 6000 block of Southeast Foste
