(NewsNation) — Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released an entry in the Jeffrey Epstein 50th birthday book on Monday that was purportedly signed by President Donald Trump, who has denied any connection to the note.

“HERE IT IS: We got Trump’s birthday note to Jeffrey Epstein that the President said doesn’t exist," according to Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, posting on the Oversight Dems' X account. "Trump talks about a 'wonderful secret' the two of them shared. What is he hiding? Release the files!”

The image of the note matches a description by the Wall Street Journal, which first reported on the birthday message in July.
