BEMIDJI — There will be stories, jokes, songs and even some dancing when Kevin Cease brings his one-man (and one-dog) show to the Bemidji Community Theater this weekend.

“An Evening with Kevin Cease … and His Dog, Molly” will be presented at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. Sunday at the BCT Performing Arts Center, 316 Beltrami Ave. NW.

Despite all the shenanigans the audience might expect from the gregarious funeral director, Cease says there will be an overarching theme to the performance.

“The through line is going to be just how love connects us,” Cease said. “It’s just me talking about how to live your life in a lighter, better way, if you choose to listen to me.”
