PAPILLION, Neb. (WOWT) -- Multiple construction projects were in the process at Papillion La Vista Community Schools this summer. Many of them are wrapping up just in time for the start of the school year.
Fine arts students at Papillion La Vista High School are getting a new theater space to perform in this year.
“The amount of memories I’ve had in this space are amazing,” said Char Pyle, a junior at Monarch High.
Pyle grew up in the theater.
“My dad actually was an actor,” Pyle said.
Duncan Pinkerton is starting his senior year. He’ll be wrapping up his theater journey in high school with an updated look to a familiar home.
“This has been my safe space. Somewhere I can go to feel like I am more than I am outside,” Pinkerton said. “I think the audience is going to love it just as
