On Sunday afternoon, the Yankees celebrated CC Sabathia’s brilliant career, which ended with them in 2019 after 11 seasons in the Bronx. This past offseason, he was voted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame by the BBWAA on the first ballot, and after his Cooperstown ceremony in July, the Yanks had his plaque on display for their aforementioned own salute to the southpaw.
