CLACKMAS COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) - 29 people were arrested and more than $3,500 worth of merchandise were recovered in a retail theft mission last week, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.

The 10-hour mission - conducted Thursday, Sept. 3 - focused on businesses at Clackamas Town Center, Clackamas Promenade, and other retailers along Southeast 82nd Avenue in the area.

Police say 17 outstanding arrest warrants were cleared during the mission, and that one person arrested provided information on an active fencing operation in the Portland metro area.

In addition, police say meth and fentanyl were seized from several people arrested, and that one arrestee was found to a registered sex offender not in compliance with Oregon law.
