For decades, the Jones family’s car dealership in Reno was synonymous with buying Ford cars.

Today, the building that served as a longtime fixture in Reno’s car dealership row on Kietzke Lane is driving off into a different future.

The former Jones-West Ford building at 3600 Kietzke Lane is being sold for $16.5 million. The sale of the property, which is scheduled to close escrow Monday, Sept. 8, was confirmed by Ted Stoever, executive vice president with real estate firm Colliers in Reno.
