LAKESIDE, Calif. (FOX5/KUSI)-- A vegetation fire that has spread 10 acres north of the I-8 freeway at Los Coches Road in Lakeside has prompted evacuations, according to CAL FIRE/San Diego County Fire.

A Temporary Evacuation Point has been opened at Viejas Casino, located at 5000 Willows Road in Alpine, as of 3:40 p.m.

An overhead chopper captured the Coches Fire burning several homes throughout the area.
