UPPER TOWNSHIP — From Wednesday through Sept. 16, Mill Road will be resurfaced from Ocean Road to North Dennis-Marshallville Road, Cape May County officials said.

Mill Road will be closed between Reading Avenue and North Dennis-Marshallville Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, the county said Monday in a news release. Local traffic and emergency vehicles will have access. Normal traffic patterns will resume at the end of each work shift, but there will be uneven lanes, rough riding surfaces and unmarked travel lanes.

Traffic travelling north along North Dennis-Marshallville Road and wishing to turn east onto Mill will be directed north to Route 49, the county said. Traffic will then be directed south onto Reading Avenue and back to Mill. Traffic heading west along Reading Avenue/Mill Ro
