SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) —The Sanford International kicks off today, and there's a special group at the event that will be helping kids understand more about the sport of golf.
Hanalei Barrett has been golfing since she was in second grade.
"You get to repeat the same movement and you just have to figure out how to make improvements every single time you hit. So if you don't hit a good shot then the next time you get to think about and analyze just how you make it better," Has golfed for 5 years, Hanalei Barrett said.
Her love for the game grew while working with First Tee - South Dakota.
