MUNCIE, IN — A Muncie man who was shot at a south-side apartment complex on the evening of Friday, Sept. 5, has died of his injuries.

Ashuntiz T. Stewart, 27, died at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, according to Melissa Criswell, deputy chief of the Muncie Police Department.

Criswell said Delaware County Coroner Gavin Greene was informed of Stewart's death on Monday.
