ABINGTON — Less than two weeks ago, Plymouth Whitemarsh was 0-3 heading into its Suburban One League Liberty Division schedule. The Colonials lost non-league games against Mount Saint Joseph Academy, Downingtown West and Boyertown.

They didn’t let the three defeats derail their season. Now, they’ve won four straight SOL Liberty games, including a 7-0 victory over Abington Monday afternoon, to get over .500 this season.

“I’ve coached long enough that I’ve been in that position before,” PW coach Charise Halteman said. “Sometimes it takes a little bit at the beginning of the season to find your rhythm and people to figure out their roles and start learning the nuances of the game from their position.
