Estranged brothers Prince William and Prince Harry were mere kilometres from each other as they paid separate tributes to Queen Elizabeth on Monday.

The Prince of Wales opened up about the cheeky antics of his youngest son Prince Louis at the Federation of Women's Institute (WI) where he commemorated the third anniversary of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

At the same time, his warring brother the Duke of Sussex touched down at Heathrow Airport from California and laid a wreath and flowers at his late grandmother's grave in St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

The sites are little more than a 30 minute drive from one another.
