HARTSELLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Morgan County Sheriff's Office says deputies and EMS crews are responding to a wreck near Hartselle.

In a post on social media, MCSO said the wreck occurred at the intersection of East Byrd Road and Peachtree Road.

The sheriff's office said two vehicles were overturned in the wreck, and someone was trapped as of 9:14 p.m. Officials said an air ambulance was responding to the scene.

News 19 has reached out to the Morgan County Sheriff's Office for more information and has a crew on the way to the scene.

Drivers are asked to use caution in the area as crews work the scene.
