STONE COUNTY, Mo. — The Stone County Ambulance District has announced that they have signed a three-year contract with Mercy Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Springfield to provide ambulance services for the district.
According to a press release by the district, the new contract will begin on Wednesday, October 8.
The decision was made following a competitive request for proposals from LifeNet Emergency Medical Services of Texarkana, Texas, CoxHealth and Mercy Emergency Medical Services.
