The Dauphin County commissioners will vote Wednesday, Sept. 10, on a resolution that would prevent county employees and federal immigration enforcement from working together.
According to a release from the Pennsylvania Immigration Coalition , “government data obtained through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests by the Deportation Data Project shows that ICE made at least 145 arrests in Dauphin County from Feb. 1 to July 31, 2025—a 630% increase from the same time span in 2024,” the release reads. “Of those, 71 arrests were tied to Dauphin County agencies, such as the prison, probation office, or courthouse.”
