COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M Soccer lost 2-1 in a hard fought battle against No. 4 TCU Sunday night.

With both teams tied at one in the second half, TCU’s AJ Hennessey was able to score the game-winning goal after a deflection from A&M’s Sydney Fuller.

“I was so pleased just in the way that they battled and the way they went out to represent,” said Head Coach G Guerrieri. “The thing that we’re still working on is just, we were one of the leading shot producers in the SEC. We’ve just got to be able to hit the goal a few more times.”

The Aggies finish pre-conference play 3-1-3. The team looks ahead to Friday, Sept. 12 when they open their SEC schedule against No. 15 Georgia. Match is scheduled to start at 7:30 pm.
