Prince Harry has made a veiled reference to the “challenges thrown our way” in a major speech at the annual WellChild Awards.
The Duke of Sussex is currently back in the United Kingdom for a busy week of engagements with over half a dozen different charities.
Harry’s first stop was a trip to Windsor to lay a wreath at the chapel where the late Queen Elizabeth II is buried to mark the third anniversary of his grandmother death.
On Monday evening, the Duke of Sussex attended the WellChild Awards in central London and gave a speech to mark the charity’s 20th anniversary.
Harry used the speech to commend the “courage” of the children with complex medical needs and their families and carers, before briefly touching on his own “challenges”.
