Kristin Cabot’s estranged husband is addressing their divorce in the wake of her viral kiss cam moment with former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron during a Coldplay concert.

A spokesperson for Andrew Cabot told People in a statement on Monday, September 8, that Kristin and Andrew “were privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert.”

The spokesperson added that the pair’s “decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening. Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they’ve always valued.”

Andrew is the CEO of Privateer Rum, a New England distillery, and has two children from a prior marriage, according to People. He and Kristin do not have children together. Kris
