French President Emmanuel Macron is set to appoint a new prime minister within the coming days, following a no-confidence vote that led to the resignation of Francois Bayrou. The incoming premier will face the significant challenge of forming a new government and navigating a deeply fractured National Assembly to pass a budget -- a task which has already led to the downfall of the last two prime ministers.
