SEYMOUR, Wis. – Heading into last week, the Kingsford boys soccer team’s record stood at 3-2 after a triangular in Marquette.
Now with three straight wins, culminating with Saturday’s 6-0 rout of host Seymour (Wis.), the Flivvers are 6-2 and seem to be gelling.
“It was a busy week for us, and we were thrilled to come away 3-0 on the week,” Kingsford coach Zach Celello said. “There have been so many great things to see during this stretch.”
One of those things has been the play of junior Jett Buckley. The talented forward has scored eight goals in Kingsford’s last three matches, including a hat trick in Saturday’s win over the Thunder.
